Rule:

Bankruptcy Rule 3001 & 3002.1

  1. Click Bankruptcy Menu
  2. Click File Claims
  3. Enter the case number.

    **When following the steps below, click the Next button to navigate to the next screen. 

  4. On the Select a Creditor for Claim screen, search for the creditor by clicking on the drop down arrow.
  5. Select the creditor from the drop down list.
    • If the creditor's address requires updating to match the address on the amended proof of claim, click on Edit Creditor.
  6. On the Proof of Claim Information screen, enter the claim number you are amending, and click Find.
  7. Select the claim being amended.
  8. The claim information from your selection will display.

    • Clear all Amounts by clicking on the radio button at the bottom of the screen.
    • Amount Claimed: enter total amount of the claim. Do not leave blank.
    • Secured and Priority: enter amount(s) in the appropriate fields.
    • Description and Remarks: enter additional comments to describe the claim, if needed.
  9. Browse for the proof of claim, verify it, and attach the document.
    • Attach supportive documents, if applicable
      Note:For Mortgage claims filed in a Chapter 13 case, attach the Mortgage Proof of Claim (B10Attachment A)
  10. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
