Pending further notice, all bankruptcy court hearings of the type previously held in the hearing room will be held in the courtroom. That will enable counsel and parties, if they wish, to sit further apart.

For non-evidentiary bankruptcy court hearings, counsel and parties are encouraged to appear by telephone. Instead of the Court requiring requests for telephonic appearances to be made no later than the day before the hearing, the Court will accept requests to appear by telephone made by 8:45 am before a hearing later that morning and by 1:00 pm before a hearing later that afternoon.

For evidentiary bankruptcy court hearings, the Court will consider requests for witnesses to testify by telephone where credibility is not at issue and the Court is satisfied there are safeguards in place to ensure the witness is who he or she purports to be.
