Instructions for Filing

The requirements for filing an Individual Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy case are divided into two sections: minimum requirements and additional requirements. Each section contains the necessary PDF "fillable" forms.

The minimum requirements are the requirements that must be met to file the bankruptcy petition if circumstances arise where you cannot complete all required schedules and statements. Additional requirements must be met by some date after the filing of the petition, but may be met at the time of filing.

Each section contains the necessary forms. The following instructions are written for persons filing without legal counsel and are general guidelines to bankruptcy procedures.
