Form change for chapter 13 fee applications
In chapter 13 fee applications and orders seeking compensation through plan confirmation, Debtor’s counsel must disclose the amount of pre-petition fees received and the estimated additional fees and costs through confirmation reported in the initial chapter 13 plan and state whether the requested amount exceeds the estimated amount. If the requested amount exceeds the estimated amount by more than $500.00, Debtor’s counsel must include in the fee application a detailed justification for the additional fees. The Court has revised NM LF 2016- 13(a) and NM LF 2016-13(b) to conform to this change in practice.
