Transcripts and Audio Recordings of Proceedings
Transcripts and audio recordings of proceedings can be ordered as follows, depending on the judge who heard the proceeding. Rates vary but may not exceed maximum charges set by the Judicial Conference of the United States.

Audio Recordings
You may order an audio recording (on compact disk) of a proceeding either
- directly from the Clerk's Office for a $30.00 fee per audio file, or
- if the presiding judge determines the audio recording will be uploaded to a docket entry in CM-ECF and available to the public via Internet access to the PACER system, the recording may be downloaded at any time via PACER for a $2.40 fee per audio file.
To order an audio recording, complete and submit the request form, along with the fee, to the Clerk's Office.
You may also listen to an audio recording for free from a computer in the Clerk's Office Viewing Room.

Proceedings Held by Judge James S. Starzynski (retired)
Transcripts of matters heard by Judge Starzynski prior to March 1, 2004, were produced by Joe Jameson Court Reporters. Contact Kendra Tellez Court Reporting Inc. (see below) regarding those transcripts. Matters heard by Judge Starzynski on or after March 1, 2004, are recorded by a digital audio system rather than stenographically.
Proceedings Held by Judge Mark B. McFeeley (retired)
Transcripts of matters heard by Judge McFeeley prior to February 1, 2006,were produced by Joe Jameson Court Reporters. Contact Kendra Tellez Court Reporting Inc. (see below) regarding those transcripts. Matters heard by Judge McFeeley on or after February 1, 2006, through October 2009, are recorded by a digital audio system rather than stenographically.

Schedule of Transcript Preparation Fees
As of October 19, 2007, the following schedule of fees for transcripts is in effect as authorized by the Judicial Conference of the United States. These are maximum fees that may be charged; a service may charge less than these maximum fees.
